By Rudyard Kipling
This is a funny story about human relationships with diverse and bright characters, dressed in the skin of jungle animals. The language is Aesopian like a fable. And that makes the story fun and accessible for kids. It is equally interesting and instructive for young and old. This is a story about the growth of a child and his encounter with the dangerous world in which we live. It learns to distinguish behind the harshness of the she-wolf tender motherly love, behind the cheerful monkeys dangerous empty-headedness, behind the outwardly scary tiger a pitiful and cowardly enemy easy to defeat.
Mowgli is played by a live actor, and the animals are huge puppets.
