A marionette puppet show full of simplicity and poetry, it takes you in, moves you and let’s you have fun. The marionettes are alive – you’ll be surprised at how they are able to transfer emotions! The show is without spoken words or spoken dialogue, and each character has their own story that they tell through movement and music, interacting with the actor-puppeteers showing the magic of the marionette; that is, the puppet on a string.

The company “Di Filippo Marionette” was created in 2012 by Remo Di Filippo. In 2014 Rhoda Lopez joined the company, bringing her theatrical and musical experience. Since then, this company has managed to perform in some of the most important puppetry theatres and festivals in Europe and the world. This company has its own style that is well recognised and appreciated by the public and critics. The manipulators don’t just bring the puppet to life, they interact directly with it, eliminating the historical distance between puppet and manipulators, thus we can call them ManipulActors.
