The legend of Lorelai has inspired many artists from different eras. It tells about the beautiful daughter of a poor fisherman – she captivated old and young men alike with her enchanting songs. This is the old and timeless story of the free spirit and of lost love. The performance brings the atmosphere of a harsh northern landscape and the magic of a fairy tale and the drama of an ancient tragedy. In it we discover truths that are beyond time and space.

About
Vessel Theatre is founded in 1998 in the town of Veliko Tarnovo, the medieval capital of Bulgaria. The puppet company keeps more than 20 titles in its repertoire. Most of the shows are translated and performed in Spanish, English, Russian, Romanian, Arabic, Turkish etc.
Vessel Theatre participated in many festivals in Bulgaria, Spain, Thailand, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Slovenia, Romania, China, Armenia, Albania, Turkey, Moldova, Malaysia, Serbia, Russia, Morocco, Italy, Kazakhstan etc.
The performances of company have been nominated for the best director, for the best actor, for the best actress, for the best artistic creation.
Vessel Theatre has got award for The Best Original Performance in Prague (Czech Republic – 2007), for The Best Atractive Performance in Bucharest (Romania – 2009). It has got awards at the festivals in Shanghai (China – 2010) and Galati (Romania – 2010), Omsk (Russia – 2013), Kishinev (Moldova – 2014) and Bangkok (Thailand – 2014). And more awards: for The Best Actor, for The Best Actress in Moscow (Russia – 2013) and Yambol (Bulgaria – 2013), for The Best Director in Sibiu (Romania – 2013), for The Best Children Show in Borneo (Malaysia – 2015) and in Astana (Kazakhstan – 2017).
Vessel Theatre is the host and organizer of the International Theatre Festival “Summer, Puppets and Friends” in Veliko Tarnovo, as well as the International Puppet Festival “Racho and Deshka” in Gabrovo.
